The Commonwealth of Massachusetts Board of the Examiners of Plumbers and Gas-fitters-BOE, has established and implemented a formal academic plumbing and gas-fitting curriculum and syllabus known as the:
TIER PROGRAM
The Plumbing Academy, Inc.-TPA has structured the BOE Tier-Program into “LIVE” online eLearning sessions.
Course Details
Next Sessions Begin:
Sessions consist of two 55 hour halves
Tier-1 May 20th
Tier-2 May 21st
Tier-3 May 22nd
Tier-4 July 11th
Tier-5 June 28th

Evening Sessions 6pm - 9pm

GET YOUR LICENSE:
Plumbing Apprentices who seek to become licensed as journeyman plumbers are required to complete 6,800-hours of on-the-job practical hands-on-training and complete 550-hours of education.
Tier-1 classes DO NOT require an apprentice license and are open to all persons who are interested in attending and exploring a career path in the plumbing/gas-fitting trade.

GET YOUR Gas-fitting LICENSE:
Gas-fitting Apprentices who wish to pursue a career as a licensed Journeyman Gas-fitter are required to complete 5,100-hours of on-the-job practical hands-on training and satisfactorily complete 330-hours of academic gas-fitting education.
Tier-1 classes DO NOT require an apprentice license and are open to all persons who are interested in exploring a career path in the gas-fitting trade-(exclusively).

This 55-hour SUPER intense study session measures your current knowledge of plumbing and gasfitting information so you can pass your Massachusetts Apprentice & Journeyman Plumbers Licensing Exam the FIRST time.

The Refresher course are On-line class sessions instructed by former Associate Executive Director of the Board of the Examiners of Plumbers and Gas-fitters, and former Town of Danvers Plumbing and Gas Inspector Norman St. Hilaire, Jr.
